PETA has been uncommonly quiet in its own defense. There are allegations that this supposedly pet friendly organization does not focus on finding homes for pets. The allegation is that there is an unusually high incidence of euthanasia:

A group calling itself the Greek Security Team left a rogue webpage describing the technicians responsible for computer security at the giant atom smasher as “schoolkids” — but reassuring scientists that they did not want to disrupt the experiment.”

The damage could have been immense. The hackers, thankfully not malicious, made their point. Undoubtedly, many security companies would jump at the chance to provide security consultation for this project. The resultant publicity and public relations value would be enormous.

It is only May and Alex Rodriguez is going to take a ‘publicity beating’ soon. And this will come at the hands of his wife, Cynthia.
Mrs Rodriguez says that her husband fainted when she was giving birth to their first child. She details the incident and continues:

Usually it is late in the season, approaching October, that Alex Rodriguez is panned like this in the press. Undoubtedly Alex Rodriguez will be reminded about these comments by team mates and opposing players. Needless to say, many people are going to be asking Alex Rodriguez… “Are you breathing?”. Perhaps it is just a clever ploy to show that Alex Rodriguez would not have used performance enhancing drugs.
