Taser Use on Pregnant Women
www.canada.com,In Canada, the Vancouver Police will restrain themselves from using the stun gun on pregnant women. And the reason is that these women might fall and hurt themselves:

“At this point, yes,” replied Const. Tammy Hammell, coordinator of the conducted energy weapons (Tasers) program for the Vancouver police force.”

Apparently, the effect of a jolt of electric current on a growing fetus is not that much of a concern, “at this point”, to Constable Hammell.
