Can anyone please tell me the best antivirus, spam, spyware etc., or at least how to pick it. I have been with one company for 15 years and they started charging my account for the yearly renewal, automatically, without my permission, that a no no. thank you
Use one of the free A/V programs AVG free, or Avast. You also need a firewall. sunbelt kerio is good. Comodo is said to be good, but I have never used it. For spyware/adware, use Spybot S & D, with real time protections on. For a second opinion on malware, you can use AVG antispyware, but do not use more than one malware program at a time.
