The Willow Kinloch Surveillance Video

The Willow Kinloch incident is controversial in Canada and especially in her home province of British Columbia. The following is part of the surveillance video. - I would like to say that this is not pleasant viewing. Please avoid viewing this if you do not want to be upset. I found it extremely disturbing, on many levels. Again, skip the video if you are sensitive to abusive violence.

Apparently, this was for Ms Kinloch’s own protection:

“…”It was related [to Kinloch at the time] that because of the time of the night, age and level of alcohol impairment, the police would not be able to release her into the streets for obvious safety reasons,” said the report.

In other words, Neary explained, Kinloch was being taken into custody not to be charged, but for her own protection.”

Judge for yourself if your think this is how citizens should be treated ‘for their own protection’.
