Mathematics and Jessica Alba (yes, that Jessica Alba)

The notion that mathematics is boring can be dispelled by this report. Some mathematicians at Cambridge have been advancing science and are reporting these findings:

“Jessica Alba, the film actress, has the ultimate sexy strut, according to a team of Cambridge mathematicians.

The academics found that it is the ratio between hips and waist that puts the sway into a woman’s walk - and the nearer that ratio is to 0.7, the better.”

The members of the group that did this research are not listed - perhaps for privacy reasons - perhaps for security reasons. My wild guess is that members of this team of dedicated mathematicians are mostly male. Of course, that is pure speculation…
