Posted: December 16th, 2008 | Author: Catherine | Filed under: Privacy / Security | Tags: browser, internet explorer, microsoft, security |There is a serious issue with Internet Explorer (IE). The problem is critical enough that a security firm has advocated not using until the problem is resolved:
“Users of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer are being urged by experts to switch to a rival until a serious security flaw has been fixed.
The flaw in Microsoft’s Internet Explorer could allow criminals to take control of people’s computers and steal their passwords, internet experts say.”

yet another in a long stream of reasons to avoid IE like the plague! Other browsers are much faster and more secure anyways.
I have been meaning to swicth to Firefox for ages and this has gotten my a into g. I really regret not doing it earlier now ’cause it’s sooooo much better than IE.
