    Well, I believe God would believe different. In the bible, He says, “Think not that I came to bring peace but a sword.” And according to the bible he deems war justified and necessary and even tells his children to , “sell your coat and buy a sword”. And even goes on to describe His followers to put on the full armor of God and to make ready for war. If war is a crime, according to Hemmingway, then God is a criminal. Chyeah, right?!

    In response to miranda above, All one can say is that there has been more unjust, inhumane and downright evil deeds done in this world in the name of holy religion then any other reason given. So in that since, one could say that God is criminal. Your reading the old testament too much here, as the new testament is about the LOVE of jesus, not the fear of him.
