LeBron James Speaking and A Bit of Truth
Posted: November 17th, 2007 | Author: Catherine | Filed under: Uncategorized |In an age where athletes try to remain political correct and to avoid any controversy, many words are spoken and it is dialog by cliché. It becomes meaningless but it does fill time on television and space in the print media. The public is used to this language of non-information. Therefore, it is almost jarring when an athlete is perfectly candid and says what he means.
LeBron James, the franchise player for the Cleveland Cavaliers, did just that. He spoke candidly about Stephon Marbury, whose on-court and off-court behaviour has been consistent and less than ideal. Here is LeBron James’ remarks about Marbury:
“…”I don’t know him that well, but I couldn’t have a guy like that on my team.”"

Kudos to LeBron James. - I, for one, hopes that LeBron James is not beset by his team’s media people to reframe his remarks. LeBron James is correct. He spoke his mind. A tip of the hat to LeBron James…
